My name is Sarah and I have moved to the beautiful township of Myrtleford with my daughter, Demi, from Rutherglen. I have two other children, Paddy who is a cabinet maker in Melbourne and Chloe who lives in Rutherglen.
I have worked in the Hotel industry for the past 15 years and thought it was about time I took the plunge and try my hand a being a publican and I don’t think I could have picked a better place to start my dream.
Myrtleford’s largest historic pub established in 1885, rises grandly above the town’s main round-about on Standish Street. The rich history of early settlement, the gold rush era and post-tobacco industry are evident in this multi-cultural community which boasts thriving vineyards, wineries, bike paths, mountain river walks and High Country adventures. The pub has seen many changes over the years and now boasts a beautiful beer garden, function room, main bar, dining room and accommodation.
I am so excited about my move to Myrtleford and look forward to meeting all the locals and getting to know you and hopefully become one.
Please pop in and say hello!
